"I am extremely disappointed with the way Juan Calix handled both my claim and my insurance policy.

My accident was determined to be not at fault according to the police report, yet I was still found liable and my insurance premium was nearly doubled. This was only a minor fender bender, and it was my very first accident.

What disappointed me even more was the complete lack of communication and customer service. When I reached out to discuss my policy and better understand the decision, I received no response other than an email stating that my policy could be canceled. There was no willingness to discuss the situation, explain the reasoning behind the increase, explore potential discounts, or consider factors such as my status as a student.

I expected much better service from State Farm. Instead, I felt dismissed and unsupported during a time when I needed guidance the most.

If you are a student in Florida, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for insurance or working with a different State Farm agent. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Juan Calix."
